Mahwah 4 Volunteer Ambulance Corps

 

Welcome,

 

We are proud to announce that we have acquired a First Responder Vehicle.  This vehicle will help us to aid Mahwah Fire & Rescue Squad as needed.   This generous donation was made by Gene Meyers from Mahwah Hummer.   Mr. Meyers has been donating a vehicle to neighboring towns in the Bergen County Area for the past seven years.   His inspiration was the tragic event of September 11, 2001.  We were considered because in Mahwah we have many areas that hard to reach in an Ambulance, because of it's size.

In Mahwah we have the Campgaw Ski Mountain and the Reservation which are in our territory, and now as a result of acquiring this SUV, we will have gain much better access to the patient in a much more efficient time frame.
